Statement
My practice began with illustration, a world of precision, sweetness, and clarity. Over time, I grew uncertain about this safety of being easily understood. I began to wonder what happens when an image resists clarity, when cuteness begins to collapse.
In search of that tension, I moved away from the flat surface and turned toward materials, space, dreams, and moving images. Along this process, AI became an essential part of my research. It is not a controller, but an extension of my subconscious — a second thinking system. Through its misreadings and automatic generation, I am able to escape the habits of human reasoning and rediscover freedom through accident and choice.
My work moves between dream and reality, creating spaces of blurred perception through installation, video, and drawing. In these spaces, the viewer is no longer a distant observer but becomes entangled within what is being seen.
Later, I will return to the language of illustration, though it will no longer serve as a flat narrative. It will become a psychological framework, a point of departure. Illustration, AI, and dreams form a continuous loop in my practice — an ongoing experiment between control and uncertainty, understanding and misinterpretation, seeing and being seen.
